What to learn more ABOUT THE HISTORY OF THE Kirkton Agricultural Society?

Kirkton Fair is a vibrant community event which has been bringing people together for over 150 years to celebrate and showcase agriculture and the rural way of life…

A lot has changed over the years as Kirkton Fair has adapted and evolved with the passing years to encompass more than just agriculture. Our strong ties to our agriculture roots still remain strong in the local community and are proudly displayed at the fair through the ever-growing exhibit entries, the very popular 4-H dairy show, the great turnout of antique tractors who eagerly participate in the parade and our newly added agriculture education tent!

While some of the unique events of fairs past such as horse races, old time fiddling contests, donkey baseball, musical chairs on horseback, go-cart races and farmer’s Olympics have come and gone, we have lots of exciting plans in store for this year’s fair!

mark your calendars!!

...and you won’t want to miss out on all the excitement!
